This could very well be my last blog post before baby girl arrives….. Ahh! April 27 is her scheduled c-section, and I think both Adam and I are starting to have a little bit of panic realizing we will soon be a family of SIX. Everyone is so excited, but the idea of another baby is daunting, especially considering we will still be raising our three boys.
It has been so fun talking to them about their future baby sister. Jack loves to feel her kick, Eli loves to kiss my belly, and Sam loves to pray for her. When I (attempt to) organize her clothing, diapers, etc, Jack always comments on how cute the stuff is — which melts my heart immediately. He’s going to be such a great big brother.
The StibbeFam has been staying busy and loving this beautiful weather. A few weekends ago Shelly threw me an incredible shower and I couldn’t have been more excited and humbled to see how many people love and care for this baby. We are very, very blessed to have met our friends in Omaha and so lucky to have family that drove all the way from Fargo and Lincoln.
We plan to enjoy our last weekend together this weekend– Adam is on call the weekend before baby girl is due (ask me how annoying that is…). Her c-section got moved up after some new research we were given about a third c-section, and obviously Adam didn’t anticipate that when he chose call. So… I will be solo the three days before she gets here. No need to panic, right? My dad and sister are coming that Sunday to stay with the boys while I’m in the hospital. More than likely I’ll be discharged on Wednesday.

Also, this may be my favorite video ever…
