First, about my hubby…

Last week I turned 28. Adam arranged for Shelly to babysit while we went “somewhere.” Somewhere turned out to be THE LION KING!!! It was fabulous. We went a few years ago in Minneapolis, but I think this was even better. The costumes were beautiful, the acting was fabulous, and we had great seats. Adam– THANK YOU. This was such a great surprise and I had such a great time.

Adam took last Thursday and Friday off and we had a little “staycation.” We went to the Children’s Museum and the kiddos had a blast.

Now, I’d like to brag about my boys:

S & J can both count to 10. Like, for real. I mean, they don’t say every number perfectly clear, but they say it. The other day I go, “Boys, who wants to count to 10?” And they went back and forth. How freaking cute is that?!?! They giggled like crazy and clapped at the end.

They also both say the ABC’s. They need a little prompting, but all it is, is me saying the letter they just said. A lot of times they get stuck around MNO, so I’ll just have to say the last letter and they keep going. Freaking unreal.

Mr. Eli? He had his first tooth come through! He was miserable for a few days, but now that it’s through he’s doing well!

Done with the bragging (for now). I have to tell this story though:

Last night getting ready for bed, we always give kisses– Kiss Mommy, Kiss Daddy, Kiss Eli, kiss each other. Well, last night this is how the kissing each other went down:

Jack, give Sam a kiss.

Jack: Mmmmm (goes in for the kiss)

Sam: <blocks Jack repeatedly>

Jack: Noooo!! <shoves Sam’s hand away and gives him a kiss>

Adam and I pretty much peed our pants laughing, which made them do it a few more times.

Oh, and this happened today (Jack in Eli’s swing with E’s blanket and animal)…
