Sam and Jack are officially in school! One of our YMCA’s offers a class called “Terrific 2’s and 3’s” that meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-11:00. They had their first day on Tuesday and I about died over the cuteness.

They are by far the smallest in the class, and probably the youngest. I’m excited for them to be around older kids so they can start to interact and gain some language skills and play with kids other than each other.

I dropped them off and within seconds Sam was running around and making friends, laughing and smiling. Jack stood in place for a while, but I left quickly before he noticed! When I came to pick them up, Sam was sitting on the teacher’s lap and Jack was sitting on his little circle pad clapping along to the music… and trying to take his shoes off 😉

Suffice it to say, they did awesome. This will be so good for them, and it is nice to have some time to run errands with just Eli. I can also drop Eli off at their childcare and go work out– we’ll see how often that happens. Maybe it will be just the motivation I need?!
