Today is my birthday! With 2 crazy boys and a husband who sleeps all day and works all night, it was not the most exciting of birthdays. But a good one 🙂 We’ll celebrate this weekend and Adam has promised to give me a day off. I have no idea what that means, but I’ll try and figure it out. Adam woke up from his sleep a little earlier so we could take a family walk. For dinner tonight, we did have one of my favorite meals… Buffalo Wild Wings. It’s Boneless Wing Thursday people!!! My favorite sauce is back (it’s only around a few months a year… what is that?!)… Jammin Jalapeno. Obsessed. And Shelly is bringing over Dairy Queen tonight. So really, my birthday is actually pretty awesome this year.

My only request for a gift from Adam is that he takes some pictures of the boys with me this weekend. I have about 1 million + pictures of the boys together, and about 1 thousand + of them with Daddy, but I never get to be in front of the camera. Hopefully with the nice weather and some cute new clothes, the boys will be ready to smile big for Mommy!

I would feel strange if I didn’t mention the death of a high school classmate of ours, Jared Nilles. On Tuesday we found out that Jared had passed away Monday morning. Jared was one of those guys that everyone loved, everyone knew, and made everyone laugh. He brought the entire school together on our last day of high school after a prank went awry 🙂 – “Free Nilly!” I did not know him well, but am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. The world has lost a great spirit and I am praying for his family and friends.
