Adam and I want to take the time to thank everyone for the support we have received over the past several months. So many people have commented on our blog, Facebook, and sent gifts. Friends we haven’t been in touch with for years have reached out to us! Please know how much we appreciate everything.
Last week I received the following letter from the Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation. It really hit home. When I found out about the TTTS I found the foundation’s website and the founder called me immediately. She was a wealth of information and support. The foundation is a non profit organization and funded by donations.
We have made a page for donations and we are reaching out to our family, friends and web-friends and asking everyone to donate just a few dollars. Literally, even $2 would be phenomenal! 🙂
Here is our website- http://tttsfoundation.org/tttswalk/?stibbetwins – and the letter is below. Sam & Jack thank you.
Trish and Adam- Thank you for sharing yours, Sam’s, and Jack’s story on the TTTS website and for bringing attention to this condition that affected the boys. Reading about your journey again about this very difficult time brought back some sad memories but also reminded me of the victories along the way. In some ways it feels like you were robbed of enjoying a time that is usually filled with happiness and joy but going through this together will keep your family strong. You have been blessed to have met so many wonderful doctors and nurses and not only that, but you have Jack and Sam. There is a reason for everything that happens in this world and Sam and Jack have taught me more about how wonderful this life is and how important it is to be thankful for what we have . Jack and Sam will always be my heroes. You’re wonderful parents to two amazing warriors.
Trish and Adam,
I’ve kept you in my thoughts and prayers and check up on your story as quick as you post a new blog! I am so happy the boys are doing well! Sam and Jack are lucky to have such amazing parents. Hope you are all doing well and wishing your family a Merry Christmas!!
